June 13th

Yet another marriage invitation! Typical of me, I would whisk it off aside as just another. Only I couldn't do that to Jnanesh. His push for me to attend the function, his heartfelt invitation to join him in his celebration of his marriage couldn't hold me out of the gathering!! A very nice person; he is one guy, who, despite not being in touch, has been in touch!! It had been at least 5 years since I had last met him. But he has never missed giving me a call on Jan 1st, my birth day, wishing me good luck. Wonder what keeps him & the ones alike so eager & enthusiastic about others. I wish him all the best in times ahead.

As it turned out, the party was a place I would meet quite a few old friends, mentors & acquaintances!! & the added bonus.. meeting their family!! I still remember the day me & Jyothy visited Abhay's house, to welcome his new born kid Ananya, like it was yesterday. ughh!! It has in fact been 5+ years!! & she had grown so much!!!

Talking of time, it just occurred to me that it was 13th June!! Exactly an year after I quit from my services at Subex. so quick!! I happened to meet most of these people at the party after exactly an year!! A lovely co-incidence :))

Friends kept asking how it was moving out of Subex. Well! the experience, I guess, is the same as of leaving any place you stay at!! You get so attached to it you feel part of it. You dread separating from it. Once it happens, you realize how tender the link was!! You get into a new place, new surroundings & start making it your own & the cycle repeats!! :) It's all in the moment I guess. You are while you are; moments make/break & we only have to live to the moment. :))
